CLAIRE WOLFSTIRN

Claire Wolfstirn has retained from her past as an industrial designer and graphic designer a demanding view of form and material, seeking the power of the obvious in simplification.

Its pieces of steel, silver, yellow or gray gold and titanium are satin-finished like skin to gently welcome the light, reducing glare and sparkle.

Two axes animate his creation: mobile and sound architectures, playing on asymmetries; sober and regular shapes, borrowing their balance from geometry.

At the same time Claire Wolfstirn is a founding member of the association "D'UN BIJOU A L'AUTRE" whose aim is to promote contemporary jewelry and to organize the Parcours Bijou in Paris. In addition, she taught for several years at the AFEDAP contemporary jewelry school.
